The Earthquake Monitoring and Alerting System is designed to detect seismic vibrations and provide early alerts using IoT technology. Vibration or accelerometer sensors monitor ground movement, and the collected data is processed by an ESP32 microcontroller. When abnormal seismic activity is detected beyond a predefined threshold, the system sends alert notifications through an IoT platform. This helps in early warning and disaster preparedness. This project uses sensors, an ESP32, IoT communication, alert mechanisms, and embedded programming, making it suitable for disaster monitoring and safety applications.
