ML BASED VEHICLE NUMBER PLATE DETECTION AND GATE OPENING SYSTEM

The Vehicle Number Plate Detection and Gate Opening System automates gate access using image processing techniques. A camera captures the vehicle number plate, and the image is processed by a Single Board Computer (SBC). The detected number is compared with stored data, and upon authorization, the gate opens automatically. This reduces manual verification and improves access efficiency. This project uses an SBC, camera module, image processing algorithms, control mechanisms, and embedded programming, making it suitable for smart parking and automated access control applications
