Reaction Control System Design for Maneuvering of Rockets and Missiles

The objective of this project is to develop and test a response control system (RCS) for accurate rocket and missile maneuvering. Pitch, yaw, and roll movements are controlled by a set of strategically placed micro-thrusters. In order to replicate real-world conditions, the model is constructed using 3D-printed parts and driven by tiny gas or air-propulsion units. To precisely execute thrust commands, a control module combines sensors and actuators. The experiment sheds light on the significance of RCS in space and missile systems for preserving stability and orientation while in flight. The efficiency of the system is visualized through live demonstrations on a test rig.
