Project
LDR AND RTC BASED EFFICIENT STREET LIGHT POWER SAVER SYSTEM
₹16000.0
The objective of this project is to utilize an RTC (Real-Time Clock) and an LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) to design an effective street light power-saving system. By automatically detecting ambient light levels, the LDR turns on or off the street lights according to the brightness of the surroundings. The RTC module optimizes power consumption during off-peak hours by scheduling the lights to turn on and off at predetermined intervals. A microprocessor is incorporated into the system to synchronize LDR and RTC inputs and regulate the lights appropriately. This two-pronged method promotes energy efficiency by cutting down on wasteful electricity usage. The prototype is examined for dependability, timing precision, and light-responsiveness.
