Predicting Rumor Spread in Social Networks with the Equal Responsibility Game Model

This study proposes a novel method for anticipating and preventing the spread of rumors in social networks. The study depicts rumor propagation as a cooperative game that requires every individual to assist in spreading information by utilizing the Equal Responsibility Game Model (ERGM). ERGM enables precise prediction of rumor transmission patterns by simulating user interactions and social influence, providing platforms the ability to proactively combat false information. Large-scale social networks are experiencing effectiveness with this approach, which provides insightful information for containing rumors and boosting the general legitimacy of content shared on social media.
